Background

With their unified brand in place, Diocese of Allentown Catholic Schools were ready to tackle their next challenge: hiring new teachers. But quickly filling positions at 35 schools is a huge task. So they called FVM.

The challenge

K-12 education presents a notoriously tough job market. Competition is high, compensation is limited, and job prospects are selective. We knew a simple “We’re hiring” job post wouldn’t cut it — so our team took a different approach.

Our solution

We did our research, identifying what drew the schools’ current teachers to their jobs. Their answers were compelling: The chance to live out their faiths, the family-like community, and the free tuition for their own school-aged children.

Over the span of two campaigns, we brought that message to life through Facebook ads, Google search ads, and a custom email targeting recent education graduates.

Each tactic drove prospects to a landing page that explained why they should apply — and how they could get started.

Results

In just eight weeks for each campaign, our work earned thousands of valuable clicks. The first campaign generated 54 applicants. And for the second, we routed applicants directly to the schools’ job portals for principals to review.

With a compelling message and new energy from fresh staff, Diocese of Allentown Catholic Schools are better equipped to live out their mission.
